The project has a total land area of 30 hectares and a total building area of 120000 square meters. It is located in Urumqi, Xinjiang. It is the first historical and folk custom experience area in the world that has restored the ancient Loulan Kingdom, including the Royal Palace of the ancient Loulan Kingdom, the Silk Road Post House, boutique resort hotels, living museums, performance shows and cross cultural and commercial towns. The historical and cultural block and Silk Road Town in Loulan, Xinjiang aim to become the destination of historical and cultural experience in western China and the Silk Road Tourism Expo Center.
The ancient state of Loulan was founded in 176 BC and disappeared in 630 AD. It has a history of 800 years of civilization development and is an important post station on the ancient Silk Road of China. The ancient Loulan culture is also one of the three greatest historical and cultural treasures in the world comparable to Atlantis and Pompeii. The project fully combines the characteristics of the Western Regions, the architectural elements of Loulan and the culture of the Silk Road to restore the ruins of the city wall and the commercial town of Loulan, and transform them into museums, shopping centers, home stays, conference centers, performance centers and outdoor sports centers. The project takes "looking for Loulan" and crossing elements as the main sightseeing routes, so that tourists can stay on an adventure journey and become a new historical and cultural block.
