The ACMI Film Museum Project in Melbourne is located in the Commonwealth Square in the center of Melbourne, Australia. The project covers an area of 7000 square meters, with an investment of 40 million dollars. The project has three floors. The main body is divided into two parts. One part is "MUSEUM", which holds exhibitions and activities in the field of film, television and video games; The other part is "CINEMAS", just like regular cinemas, it will continuously show award-winning Australian films and classic films.

Through video montages, past costumes and settings, the audience will enter the redefined immersive museum. The whole tour route is composed of ancient shadow play, Victorian magic lanterns, original cameras, iconic clothing, film sets, sketches, clips and contemporary art. The museum passes through time, country and culture in a new form of exhibition and art, The design of the project has changed and subverted the traditional museum visiting form.
